MEMPERKENALKAN BAHAYA INTERNET DAN MEDIA SOSIAL UNTUK REMAJA MASJID DAN ORANG TUANYA DI DUSUN GREMBYANGAN PRAMBANAN

Abstract

The increasing use of mobile devices has accelerated the use of the internet and social media by the younger generation, including mosque youth. The internet and social media have had both positive and negative impacts. The negative impacts of the internet and social media need to be understood early on, to protect adolescents from their negative influences. On the other hand, the role of parents in supervising adolescents also requires knowledge of the dangers of the internet and social media. This service activity aims to provide provisions for the youth of the Grembyangan Prambanan hamlet mosque and their parents to find out what negative impacts should be avoided for in the use of the internet and social media in order to avoid the dangers of the internet. Activities carried out in the form of lectures and discussions involving teenagers and their parents. The results of this dedication show that teenagers are increasingly equipped to use the internet positively and avoid negative use. Likewise, parents get new provisions in monitoring their children's internet activities.
