Author Guidelines
AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES
1. Introductions
AGRISOCIABUS is a platform for publishing the International Journal of Agriculture and Business. AGRISOCIABUS has open access issued by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta. AGRISOCIABUS has registration number ISSN 2963-4407 (online). AGRISOCIABUS helps publish academic research journals on agriculture and agribusiness, AGRISOCIABUS provides a platform for national and international scholars, academics and researchers as well as those interested to share their thoughts on agricultural agribusiness.
2. General Guidelines for Manuscripts
General guidelines for manuscript texts are as follows:
- Articles can be written in Indonesian or English with Microsoft Word 97-10 document type (*.doc).
- Articles are written with 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman (TNR) 12 pt on A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm, consisting of 10 – 16 pages including pictures and tables).
- Top and left margins 4 cm; 3 cm right and bottom margins.
- Manuscripts are authentic research results that have not been published in other publication media or publishers. The manuscript does not contain elements of plagiarism. The editorial board will immediately reject text that indicates plagiarism.
- Manuscripts that have been written are submitted through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the E-journal Journal of Agricultural Social and Business portal. Manuscripts that do not comply with the Journal of Agricultural Social and Business writing guidelines will be returned to the author prior to the review process.
- Manuscripts must contain several aspects of scientific articles as follows: article title, author's email address, abstract, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, suggestions and bibliography.
- The main title of the manuscript must be written at the top of the first page with center text alignment, with the writing rules of Times New Roman/TNR 13 pt bold, center, spacing before and after 0 pt. The title is written in two languages, namely Indonesian and English with good and correct language construction and describes the main content of the writing. Articles in Indonesian, the main title in Indonesian is upright, the second title is in English italics; and vice versa if the article is in English, the main English title is upright, the second Indonesian title is italic). Use capital letters with a maximum of 18 words. Publication manuscripts originating from theses/thesis/dissertations may not use the exact same title as the title of thesis/thesis/dissertation.
- Rules for writing the second title Times New Roman/TNR 12 pt bold, center, spacing before and after 0 pt
- The author's name without an academic degree (TNR 12 pt) and the address of the author's affiliation must be written in the middle of the text also under the article title. Authors must provide two lines of space between the title and the author's name. Then, the space between the address of the author's affiliation and the title of the abstract is a single space. The responsible author, correspondence writer, or correspondence writer must be written first then followed by the second, third, and so on. If there are more than one author, the authors' names must be written separately with a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name cannot be abbreviated. If the author's name is only one word, it should be written as is. But on the online version it will be written in two words with the same name repeatedly.
- Words from unfamiliar or foreign languages are expressed in Italic format.
- Tables and figures are placed in the text group after the referenced table or figure.
- Images must be captioned (Figure Caption) and numbered in Arabic numeral format below the image followed by the image title. Image title (TNR 12 pt) while the image content (TNR 11 pt). The naming of the title must match the serial number in the manuscript (eg Figure 1, and so on). Under the image title added the source. Image size 6 cm wide, length adjusts.
- An open table with 1 space between lines, the width of the table is adjusted to the width of the paper page. Table title and source (TNR 12 pt) while table contents (TNR 11 pt). Each table must be given a table title (Table Caption) and numbered in Arabic numeral format above the table followed by the table title. The naming of the title must match the serial number in the manuscript (eg Table 1 and so on). The numbers in the table are aligned to the right while the letters in the table are aligned to the left. Below the table is given the source.
3. Guidelines for Manuscript Body Text
Title
The title of the publication manuscript originating from the thesis/thesis/dissertation may not use the exact same title as the title of the thesis/thesis/dissertation. The title should be informative and written briefly and clearly. The initial word is written in capital letters. The title of the article does not contain unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written down first and followed by an explanation. The title of the article is written in a maximum of 18 words in Indonesian or English, Times New Roman/TNR font 13 pt bold, center, spacing before and after 0 pt.
Abstract
Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Text must be in Time New Roman, italic, 12pt font size, 1 line spacing, with good and correct language arrangement, Abstract consists of 180-250 words containing objectives, research methods, results and conclusions as well as policy implications. Keywords use words that facilitate the accessibility of articles by library users. Number of words 3-5 words and alphabetical order.
Introduction
The introduction contains the background, problems, explanation of related previous research, specific matters from the author's research, and research objectives. The introduction only contains paragraph descriptions and no tables and figures are allowed in it.
Research methods
The research method contains: research stages; place and population/sample used; types and sources of data in research; method of collecting data; and data analysis methods used to answer the research objectives.
Results and Discussion
Results and discussion are written in one part of the chapter that can answer the research objectives. Presenting the main results objectively, arranged in a logical and orderly text arrangement, which is sharpened by tables and figures accompanied by a theoretical basis that supports research discussion. Subtitles are written Capitalize Each Word, Bold and Italic
Conclusions and recommendations
Conclusion
Conclusions are written based on research results which are the answers to the research objectives. Arranged in paragraph form (not numbered)
Suggestion
Suggestions in the form of policy implications that can be carried out in connection with the findings or conclusions of the authors and research problems that need to be addressed. Arranged in paragraph form (not numbered).
Bibliography writing using reference management applications such as Mendeley, Refworks, Zotero, Endnote and others. The writing format is in accordance with the APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association) format arranged alphabetically. All references used in the manuscript must be listed in the bibliography which is sorted alphabetically. All data or citations presented in the article taken from other authors' articles must attach reference sources. References are recommended to use reference management applications such as Mendeley and others.
4. Guidelines for Online Submission Manuscripts
Manuscript text submitted through the system:
- Manuscripts are submitted via the Online Submission System at the Journal of Agricultural Social and Business.
- First, the author must register as an author or reviewer (check the role as an author or reviewer) in the "Register".
- After the registration step is complete, log in as the author, click "New Submission". The stages of submitting articles consist of five stages, namely: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Additional Files, (5). Confirmation.
- In the "Start" column, select Journal Section (Full Article), check all checklists.
- In the "Upload Submission" Column, upload the manuscript file in MSWord format in this column.
- In the "Enter Metadata" column, fill in all author and affiliation data. Includes Journal Title, Abstract and Indexing Keywords.
- In the "Upload Complementary Files" column, authors are allowed to upload supplementary files, statements, or others.
- In the "Confirmation" column, if the data you entered is all correct, then click "Finish Submission".
