Text Manuscripts Structure
1. Title
Title of article describes research that has been done
2. Name of Author
The author's name does not use a title, followed by the place of affiliation or organization of the author and email.
3. Abstract/Introduction
An abstract should be presented on the same page as the title preceding the text of the manuscript. The abstract should inform the reader of the manuscript’s topic, its methods and procedures adopted and a condensed summary of the findings. Keywords should be provided at the end of the abstract. The main section of an article should start with an introductory section which provides more details about the paper’s purposes, motivation, research methods and findings. Both the abstract and the introduction should be relatively non-technical, yet clear enough for an informed reader to understand the manuscript’s contribution.
4. Introduction
The Introduction mainly contains (1) research problems, (2) insight and solution plans problem, (3) formulation of research objectives, (4) summary of theoretical studies related to the problem under study.
5. Method
Basically, this section explains how this research was conducted. The main material of the Method is; (1) research design, (2) population and sample (research target), (3) data collection techniques, (4) and data analysis techniques. For qualitative research needs to be added to the presence of researchers, research subjects, informants who helped along with ways to explore research data, location, and duration of research and a description of checking the validity of research results. Avoid writing organizers into children's sub-sections in this section
6. Discussion
This section is the main part of the research article. It is the longest part of an article. The process of data analysis such as statistical calculations and the process of testing hypotheses does not need to be presented, only the results of the analysis and the results of hypothesis testing only need to be reported. Tables and graphs can be used to clarify the presentation of verbal research results. Tables and graphs must be commented or discussed.
For qualitative research, the results section contains detailed sections in the form of sub-topics which are directly related to the focus of the research and categories. Subtopics are written without using letter or number numbering.
The discussion in the article aims to; (1) answer the problem statement, (2) show how the findings were obtained, (3) interpret the findings, (4) relate the findings of the research to the established knowledge structure, and (5) bring new theories or modification of existing theories.
In answering the problem formulation and research questions, the results of the study must be concluded explicitly. The interpretation of the findings is done by using existing logic and theories. Findings in the form of reality in the field are associated with the results of previous research or with existing theories. For this purpose, there must be a goal. In generating new theories, old theories can be confirmed or rejected, some may need to modify the theory from the old theory.
In an article, sometimes it is unavoidable to organize the writing of research results into the child sub-title. The following is how to write the format of the organization, which shows how to write special things that cannot be separated from an article.
7. Conclusion
Conclusions present a summary of the description of the results and discussion, referring to the research objectives and the contribution or implications of the results of the study. Based on these two things, new ideas are developed which are the essence of the research findings.
8. Reference
Reference system must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) system of referencing, e.g: Curran, J & Gurevitch, M. (2005). Mass media and society. London: Hodder Arnold.
