Abstract

The Islamic boarding school, originally a religious and educational institution, expanded its function as a forum for training, development, and research. The commitment to continue to grow and benefit the environment is a basic principle that the Lintang Songo Islamic Boarding School continues to hold. Economic independence is one thing that is encouraged by the Lintang Songo Islamic Boarding School. One of the potentials in the context of economic independence that is being developed by Lintang Songo is mushroom cultivation. Mushrooms are currently quite in demand by the public along with changes in healthy lifestyles. The problems faced by Islamic boarding schools in managing the mushrooms produced are first, the market affordability is still limited to neighbors, the durability of the mushrooms is not durable, the marketing limitations of mushrooms and the mushrooms produced by Lintang Songo do not have packaging and brands. This service aims to provide education for the manufacture of derivative products that have more added value and increase the economic independence of students and the community around the Islamic boarding school. The result of this service is the creation of a trademark for processed mushrooms, packaging for products, and socialization of processed edible mushrooms.
