Implementasi Teknologi Produksi Dan Pemasaran Dalam Pengembangan Batik

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PbM) is carried out with the partner of UKM Batik Banyuripan, having its address in Banyuripan, Bayat, Klaten, Central Java. Bayat has been known as one of the centers for producing batik cloth. Banyuripan batik SMEs experience problems in the process of production, marketing, and business financial control. In the rainy season, SMEs are not able to load cloth quickly because they rely on sunlight so that production capacity is very limited. SMEs also make batik patterns manually so they are slow in processing. The problem with marketing midwives is that market access is limited so that SMEs rely on direct purchases and local orders. The problem in the financial sector is that SMEs have not been able to compile simple bookkeeping and financial reports so that it is difficult to determine the selling price and estimate profit/loss. The purpose of this PbM is to increase partner productivity, market access, and SME financial management. The solution applied to the production sector is to increase production capability by drying batik cloth TTG and batik pattern table TTG. Marketing solutions by implementing digital-based online marketing. The solution in the financial sector is to implement simple bookkeeping and financial reporting. The method implemented is training and production assistance as well as facilitation of appropriate technology that is more effective and efficient for partners to receive training and assistance in financial management, and online marketing. The material uses technology transfer media in the form of training modules, shows, and videos as well as direct practice in the field. Assistance is also expected to ensure the improvement program is implemented consistently. The outputs of this PbM program are methods and application of appropriate technology used in the drying process of batik cloth, marketing models by utilizing information technology made online, scientific articles researched in the proceedings of national seminars, production and marketing books with ISBN and copyright, posters, videos, as well as mass media articles published online.
