Efektivitas Bioaugmentasi dengan Pseudomonas aeruginosa pada Tanah Tercemar Minyak Bumi

Pencemaran minyak bumi berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran ekosistem, tanah, dan air permukaan, karena
kandungan hidrokarbonnya. Eksploitasi minyak dan gas bumi yang berlokasi di Desa Wonocolo, Kecamatan
Kedewan, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, Provinsi Jawa Timur telah dilakukan secara konvensional sejak tahun 1893 dan
menimbulkan dampak lingkungan baik abiotik, biotik, maupun sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui
efektivitas bioaugmentasi dengan Pseudomonas aeruginosa untuk mengurangi konsentrasi Total Petroleum
Hydrocarbon pada Desa Wonocolo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen laboratorium.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa terbukti efektif dalam remediasi tanah
tercemar tumpahan minyak bumi menggunakan metode bioaugmentasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua
variabel yaitu 0,042 mL inokulum bakteri cair per gram tanah dengan tingkat efektivitas 45,72% dan 0,126 mL
inokulum bakteri cair per gram tanah dengan tingkat efektivitas 48,69%.
